Hi folks,

I recently cleared all the technical rounds at Qualcomm, and HR has asked me to share my expected CTC.

The role is for a Senior / Lead Engineer position in Qualcomm Hyderabad, and I have 7.5 years of experience along with an M.Tech.

CCTC is 32 LPA (fully fixed).

Could anyone share what would be a reasonable expected CTC range for this level?

Additionally, how much joining bonus and relocation bonus is typically offered or reasonable to ask for such roles?

Hi, request for staff role, for outsider MTech +8 is eligible for staff, it will be a disappointment for you later, you will be struck in that role for2 yrs at least. Tell just a few months short of 8yrs, I will lose 2 yrs of my time as Sr.Lead (that too best case).

If you’re desperate to shift and settling for sr.lead then u should get max band of sr.lead for your experience.

Sr.lead max band
Base: 38-42L
Stocks: 35-40k for 3yrs (35k possible)
JB: 10-20LPA (15 is possible slight difficulty , 20 is very rare, 10 is for sure possible).

Staff starting band:
Base around: 42-46
Stocks: 45-50k for 3 yrs (45k
Possible)
JB: 15-20L

I am from VLSI SOC time this is what I know, there will be a deviation in other teams.

They can easily give 37 lakh base pay to you. Don't settle for less.

What do you see as most attractive exit ops in Europe? In the US, everything is about Tech/FAANG, but it seems way less attractive in Europe (less strategic roles, comp. seems much lower than in the US, very centralized around London/Dublin).
