I don't know about automotive.
But for driver development role, they conduct 5 or 6 rounds of interview. The first round is usually on basics on many things. C, your current roles and responsibilities, aptitude, how do you debug a so and so issue, Protocols, Os, peripherals. You name it.
From my experience, it is not so different from other interviews in terms of the initial questions. But they get deeper and deeper into whatever you answer.
Covering Definition, practical uses, critical scenarios, how you used it before, why can't we do some other way, how you debug, etc.,
But that's just my experience.

I didn't get too far either.
But I can tell you one thing. How you approach the problem and your way of thinking is more important to them than whether you solve the problem or know some specific data structure.
