I wish to become a solutions architect but I've heard that you have to be a cloud engineer first before becoming an architect. Just wanted to understand what could be the best way forward for me in this case. Thanks!

I’m a second year BigLaw associate that pays market. I was offered the position at a modified salary and hourly expectation due to their expected work flow needs. I’m wondering what is the best way to approach the topic of getting on the full salary/hours. Do I wait until the bonuses are given at the end of my first year? Or bring it up at mid-year review?
