After submitting a job application, personally how long do you wait before not hearing any response that you take the intended job out of consideration and move on? (Not counting those random out of the blue jobs where recruiters hit you up 2-3 months later after you’ve applied.) Imagine you received an offer for a PM role (non-FAANG) what are some questions you'd ask the hiring manager about the job or company?

Considering an exit, 3.5 YOE, base 150k, 10-20% bonus, and some equity as well (still waiting to hear back on %). This would be an exit from IBM to a smaller boutique. Current Comp: 95k, no bonus (its IBM), but would probably promote in next 6 months, which would be an 20-30% increase in base. Would this hurt long term career growth? What else should I consider? Hi All, Am a developer mainly working with SQL and I want to move to AWS (devops), so I started to learn & practice few tools such as terraform, saltstack, prometheus, etc.
But I do not have hands on a live project, any ideas if companies would take in beginners in AWS ? Even though there are cloud projects in my domain it is a bit difficult to get into those projects as my lead & manager give me the standard answer "you're a critical resource for our project" :(
