This is a bit hard because she is not with a established firm and the 20-40 hours will all be done by someone at director level (vs a consultant billing the majority of the time with director over site). I’d think maybe between like $325-$375 range? My thought being it would reflect rate of senior consultant of a smaller firm. Or just think of what is the max 40 hours of work should cost (IDK maybe no more than 12-16k) then back into an hourly rate from there?
It would only be about 20-40 hours if time. Knowledge wise, she’s director level in her current role, but said he felt like the skills for this are manager level. I just don’t know this space at all. Thanks for any guidance!
Is this for independent work or through your firm? PwC should be able to calculate an appropriate hourly estimate. That's weird if they are asking you to figure out the rate.
Ah gotcha. Unfortunately that's proprietary info, although if I worked for myself I'd be happy to provide what I charge, so I'm not sure you'll get a good answer here (plus it's different if she's not working for an established firm), but if she works in this space already, a good place to start would be calculating what she would charge a private health insurance company and then determining an appropriate government discount (she may be able to find examples with some research).
I wish her luck :) TED records could use some smart women involved; their claims are a bit of a nightmare to deal with.
