I've been offered a new role and need advice.

I'd go from VP marketing to Director sales enablement. It's a tech startup. Base stays the same at 74k cdn, but commission moves from .1% of total company rev to 1.5% plus % increases for exceeding targets. All sounds good, but I'm being pressured to answer in 24hrs. Seems odd. They also won't give me equity because of "tax complications" with it being a UK company and I'm a Canadian employee. Bonuses are supposed to make up for that. Thoughts?

Is the take home pay (incl bonus, carried,etc.) for PE investment & PE Ops role comparable?

If not, typically what is the % difference? Assuming all else being equal (e.g. same firm, same performance, etc.)
