Currently in Atlanta, GA. Looking for management role in wealth management, corporate and institutional solutions, business strategy and consulting. I have an MBA from non-target school, about 5 years in management from financial services, business strategy and development and I’m looking for a great company (whether in finance, business strategy or tech) with salary range around $150k or above. I’m asking to get my notice period waived. I have a 30 day notice period per the employment agreement I signed, but it says they can waive it at any time after I gave notice. Im not going to a competitor or even the same industry. How likely is for my current firm to allow this?

Any advice on where to find the best “profile guides” for the top MBA programs? I find that the school descriptions on poets and quants are a bit outdated.

I know that people say it’s all about story, but with a certain gpa/gmat score is there a “floor” that you’re safe on? For example would someone with 4.0/780 (not me) be pretty much assured at least 1 M7? Or is there a reasonable chance that all M7s will reject them? Or is their floor just lower (T15 for example)?

If hypothetically I turn down a school because of denied company sponsorship, does that kill my chances of being admitted if I apply again in the future?
