Now i have been interviewed and selected for Ameriprise where I would learn on the job and work on workday finance.
No WD certification.
Will it be a good choice in the long run?
Also, how hard is it to learn workday without proper formal training/certification ?

I am in the Houston area at an energy related tech company as a software engineer. I have been working here a year and a half and got a 10% raise (70->77) but don't know if I am being undervalued. This is my first job in the field but I am evaluated as a top performer and have responsibilities like mentoring other employees and interns, delegating certain work items and make some of our major design decisions as we move forward.

I read the fine print and other than a need to be flexible in terms of when you book, it doesn’t seem like there is a catch.

Does anyone have any tips on virtual interviews and how to gauge the culture of the firm and if it really will be a good fit for you? Is it wrong that I’m just not into PE/VC? It seems to be the most desirable exit for most people that I work with.
