I have recently received an offer from Amgen for a Senior Manager- Data Eng role.
I have 11 Yrs of exp and I was wondering if I am not being low balled. My current comp is around 44(FIXED) and the offer I received from Amgen is :

Base- 58 L
Bonus - 8.7L
Stocks- $12000
Joining Bonus - 5L
Relocation - 4L

I also have an offer from Amex but their offer is little less than Amgen(54L). I would appreciate it if you could help me choose the better org based on stability, wlb etc.

My ctc excluding employer pf is 12.58lpa. i invstd 96k in elss and 40k in lic. Along with this 48k epf and 2.4k as PFtax. HS rnt is 1.2LPA. I covered whole 80c but still 13k was deducted as tax this month. I am unmarried and don't want to take any medical insurance premiums. Any ideas how this 13k was came as Income tax?

How important is the prestige of the university where you do your undergrad?
