Have you ever had a female coworker act rude towards you for no reason? There’s a new snr associate on the project who constantly picks on me (an associate) and singles me out in video calls and sends me sarcastic messages. We haven’t even officially kicked off the project yet.

So I just had a client tell me their asylum case is fabricated, and can't I help prepare the person for court. My initial reaction, fire the client. I'm not that kind of atty. But I hear so many talk about finding a balance and not turning ppl away bc ultimately they need a defense and who knows what will come up along the way. How would you handle? How do you find the balance btwn not turning clients away but not being unethical?

I’m a bit stuck. Started at an agency almost a year ago, but mainly adaptation work for one big global client: and I don’t know how to pull that work together for my book in a way that makes sense.

Queens NY. I've lived in this building for 6 years and never saw a cockroach in my apartment before. Last winter we moved literally across the hall (from the west side to the east side if the building) to get a second bedroom, because I'm working from home. I have been offered Manager Level 2 at EY FSO BIEP with BASE of 155 and 10% bonus and sign on bonus. Have also been told that in their upcoming cycle I would be progressed to Level 3 and that would bump up salary. I am not gain much in terms of Base salary but organization wise EY is much bigger than current and weighing in benefits it's quite good compared to my current.

Any idea on what would be hike on progression to Level 3 from level 2? And rough yearly hike in FSO division

Why at the first place they hired for this project?
