Take a senior position with low pay or a mid-level position with possibly the same pay or slightly more and a title review at 6 months? Both great opportunities.

Can a person just say that he cannot disclose his current salary while negotiating an offer and just mention his expected salary (which may be 2x current one) , because if the current salary is low ,the expected salary can't be too higher than current one ? Never seen such a case so just asking
