Hiiii. I’m Tanzanian too!!! Mambo? I don’t really have much advice as I’m just an analyst but I would ask if anyone is willing to refer you and with that much experience, I don’t think it should be hard to switch into Consulting. Deloitte has a SCNO - Supply Chain Networking Operations practice that could be a good fit just browse the careers website
The problem might be your resume. You might want to get it revised then ask someone to review it for you before applying. Makes sure your experience is concise and the resume isn’t too long
Networking is key. Use LinkedIn to get coffee chats with consultants (always go prepared with thoughtful questions). I don’t know your academic qualifications, but some top consulting firms prefer candidates with MBAs.
