I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company. Now without me asking her she increased the hourly wage to the maximum range I asked. Which makes me doubt if the company increased it or she knew the rate all along but gave me the lower rate ?

I have a car lease that I’m trying to get rid of in NY. My in-laws want to buy the car from my lease and give it to their mom, but I would have to buy the car out myself and then transfer the title. The plan is to have 3 people write a check to me for $10k each as a gift. Then I buyout the car using $30k. When I transfer the title to their mom, do they have to pay the tax? The buyout price ($30k) already includes sales tax, and if we have to pay tax again to transfer the title, it’s 👎

Got a GRE score of 320 (162V 158Q). Did my masters from A&M (full scholarship, 3.8 GPA, journal publications. How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
