Hi! Welcome to Dallas! Stay away from south Dallas or any suburbs in south from Dallas. If you want to save and still be in a safe neighborhood try the following: Irving, flower mound, Mansfield, Rowlett. Just depends how far you can stay from the office and if you have to work from office every day 😊 feel free to DM me.

I’m in a similar situation and I explore different areas. Oak Cliff (Bishop Arts) was pretty nice and for 2,000 you can get a nice place, I visited an apartment complex Urban House. I also went to uptown, it has a nice vibe, but pricing is higher.

2000 for a 2 bed is only achievable outside Dallas proper. Addison, Irving, Carrollton, and Richardson will have what you’re looking for (all generally safe too). It is a bit far from downtown, where most corporate establishments are. So if you need to go into work, I would look for something closer because that commute is not the best.

I cleared Accenture interview and today got an email to upload documents on their portal. Also, got a call from HR and she asked about the salary expectations and other details. And few minutes later I found that my profile has been put on hold.

question is, they will negotiate with me or they have rejected my profile ?

How does a consultant or associate director/above in industry manage their properties if they are always in meetings ~7-8 hours per day? Eg does one call contractors after work hours? Does one hire an individual property manager to take care of a few properties? Does one hire a property management firm?

I imagine one can still self manage as long as you have initially found the go-to people for your maintenance/fixes (eg plumber, electrician), then can quickly text them for appointments
