Hi I graduated in Cybersecurity Engineering over a year ago, and I’ve noticed that many companies require a security clearance for their roles.I’m wondering, how does one typically obtain a security clearance? Is there a specific process for individuals to apply for it on their own, or is it generally tied to being hired by a company that sponsors the clearance? What would be the easiest way to approach this if I’m looking to gain clearance without being employed by a sponsoring organization?

Cons : junior title\level, hybrid

Company 2 : $150k base + 10% bonus
Pros : senior role\title, fully remote
