So glad I found this bowl. How do you go about negotiating your salary? I applied for a new role and was offered the job. But the pay we haven’t discussed yet. I never did this and heck I don’t know where to start.

I’m currently in the process of being converted from contractor to permanent. In my initial conversations I was under the impression that I was in a different pay grade and asked for a salary 25k higher than the max allotted for my position. My YoE is 2 y 1 mo. Worked on Firmware Dev and Linux Device Driver Dev. Have good knowledge on OS Internals.
I've attended 2 TRs at Qualcomm and then HR called to say that I'm qualified and sent me a set of HR questions over mail to answer. I'm not sure how much CTC should I expect. My current CTC is 3.3 + 0.3 LPA.
Please note that I only did polytechnic/diploma and currently pursuing BCA online. Does not having a BTech lead me to lower CTC?
