I am taking an associate role at a REPE office and my offer includes an annual $70k bonus that is based on “achieving 3 mutually agreed upon metrics”. Has anyone had a bonus based on something like this? What metrics make sense? I’m not sure what to propose.

My group develops MF/ retail and acquires all the other main food groups. I am responsible for all modeling, underwriting, prepare debt and equity decks and act as project manager for the developments. It’s a very entrepreneurial group.

I started my career in my hometown, a city with about 135k people. After 4 years was at the point where I buy a house or move to a bigger city (600k people), I went with the ‘big’ city option.
