If you're having personal responsibilities like baby then reject straight away
Congratulations on your offer. I believe WLB will be good there. Make decision based on your financial and mental state. If u feel finance is not a constraint and you can manage then reject it. I agree it is too far but WLB will be good. 3 days a week is manageable think if at all u get an offer in service based company with no wlb no point in staying near. Think wise and decide
How much hike you did you get ? And what roles and responsibilities as compared to current
Ok… paypal is nice company… its hard to clear the interviews. Congratulations and if you deserve to get the offer from such a company which is dream for many folks then I think you should go for it. So many people travel this much all around world…. The opportunity matters. You will regret if you wont get this type of opportunity in future. This is my personal opinion…

If it pays you great and you dont have lot of responsibilities such as old parents in some serious condition or very small baby . If parents are healthy and wife is also supporting please go and take offer from paypal . It is one the great company to boost your career after that of you find difficult try switching to some other company. Paypal brand value is more than enough for you to boost your career.
Also try renting out flat over there . If not an issue . Also tell your age and any family dependencies also ctc they offering so that can guide you more
If i had to travel 27km to and fro , i would have rejected it, bcoz once u start working and daily hussle makes us think - why go through so much trouble for some little raise... healt matters and its a gradual effect on health, it slows down slowly day by day... but your situation you know better.. what you want that matters.. health, comfort or that raise ,, or do u want to try harder and give more interviews nearby your home.. thats totally upto you... for me i took a flat within 1km of my office and i was able to save lot of energy
Hi, first of all, congratulations!
Just to give you my example - 3 months ago, I moved to a company that’s 26km from my current place. I’d recommend checking with your hiring manager how flexible they are with in-office timings. If you’re in a place like Bangalore, you can consider commuting earlier in the morning to beat the peak traffic hours and come back home by 1 or 2pm, take a break and then continue some work from home, if anything’s pending. You can try Quick ride as carpool service if your office cab doesn’t have an early pickup option. There are a lot of people from my place who travel along my route and offer rides early mornings and afternoons.
But that’s all personal preference and depends on your manager + company policy. If you really want to consider this company as an option, try figuring out these points as well during this time. If you do decide to take this option, it will take some time to figure out your routine and your WLB. But if management is understanding, you’ll be able to figure it out.
Good luck! :)
