I joined Thomson Reuters in 2021 then i resigned due to some circumstances in 4 days submitted their assets, then i joined some other company. Even though no amount was credited to me from Thomson Reuters they opened my pf account. Now it is showing dual employment of 4 days. In this case my BGV is getting failed. I tried my best to change the exit date from Thomson Reuters, but they are not doing it. Can you please help it mnc will take me or not.

You need to ask the previous companies to update the DOE in PF portal, they should do it immediately if they have no objection or dependency from you( like absconding, and the company may ask Money to pay for the loss, or any asset you took and yet to return them ), if everything is clear then they will usually update ur DOE in the PF portal, once it's done it will take some time to reflect in Passbook, you can use that for your BGV, as it was same with me, i had to call that co and later got it updated. O'wise ppl think ur still working for thm even though u have a relieving letter or exp letter. Chase after thm n get it done soon

I have the same issue. I am planning to visit the EPFO office to get this sorted. I can't even transfer my money to the current PF account due to this.
May I know for which company your BVG is failing?
I recently got an offer letter from TCS, HR raised this same concern and I have explained the same scenario.
In my case, I didn't even join the organisation they just opened my PF account.
HR asked me to submit proof like the offer letter from that organisation and the emails I have sent them to remove/fix my PF account.
What is date of joining and date of exit in PF portal? Were you able to convince tcs HR ?
You can manually exit PF.
If the employer has already marked ur exit date then we can't edit it

I believe in the pf website you can mark the exit date yourself

They have put my exit date, so now I don't have the option to edit that. If they might have not put the exit then we have the option to put our exit date.

Also better get NOC letter from previous employer stating all these PF related confusion with seal , so that u can keep it proof to avoid EPF BGV issues.
Also, the BGV thing from any big companies all depends on how much critical that position is to be filled, then the account head or project director will only check if your previous employment has no issue with you, and u have offer and relieving letter from previous employer then the current offered company will skip those BGV issues and mark it green and straightaway onboard you. Just keep talking to HR and ask him what else u can do to prove u don't have dual employment, he might have seen such candidates and help with alternate way
