Hi! I would like to gain some insights on this. Last week I finished a DA interview for JPMC. I was able to get this interview from Person A who referred me to his hiring manager to take Person A's place (as Person A left for a different job). I had 3 behavioral and 2 technical questions. I believe I answered the behavioral ones well but poorly on SQL normalization, 'drop,' and 'truncate.' Does this affect my candidacy to move to the next round? TIA

I got an offer at Nokia, and my new manager said that she wanted to put me in the higher salary bracket however the HR insisted that we lowered the range. That caused me to receive a much lower salary than expected. Should I renegotiate even when my manager said that she tried giving me more. Does HR really play that big of a role in this?

How hard is it to get an interview for SWE at FAANG outside of on campus recruiting? I’m in GT’s OMSCS program right now, hoping to take advantage of career fairs this fall, but I don’t know if I’ll have enough time to prepare for the technical interviews before then. Any recommendations on resources to study for Android system design interviews?

Interviewed for a sr. PM last Thursday. Was scheduled for 30min but we went to an hour and had a really good conversation. The questions I got asked I was told the answers were perfect by the hiring manager. I felt really good coming out of it but then followed up with an email thanking them for the time the next day and I never received a response or next steps. Am I thinking too much into it or is it not a good sign?
