Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons. Don’t want to drive 700 miles per week M-F. What will dual model be like going forward? 1-2 times week, 4-5 month? Seems like tax was more flexible than audit pre-Covid

Hi, just got an offer from A&M as D (Performance Improvement). The base from Glassdoor is accurate (US as a benchmark). Bonus is much higher than my current. Anyway the base seems very low compared to S& SA in US.
1) is it true that the base is that low compared to junior-mid level at S&?
2) i am based in Asia, any different rate compared to other region at A&M?
3) the TC can be 3x that what I can get currently, but i can make partner in few years at PwC. Do you think A&M should be considered?

LinkedIn is a garbage app where I can’t even post my opinion or experience because it will go against the mainstream ideologies. If I even “like” a post then I worry that my peers and managers see what I like and suddenly I need inclusivity training. What a load of shit! Interviewed for a sr. PM last Thursday. Was scheduled for 30min but we went to an hour and had a really good conversation. The questions I got asked I was told the answers were perfect by the hiring manager. I felt really good coming out of it but then followed up with an email thanking them for the time the next day and I never received a response or next steps. Am I thinking too much into it or is it not a good sign?

I have a phone screen interview with AWS for the position of Systems Engineer with the Linux team early next week. I’ve been a Sys Admin for the last 4 years, and I’m not very well-versed with coding. The phone screen does have whiteboard coding, any tips on what I could do to prepare for this?
