Hi Londoners, I'm flying tomorrow with KLM for work since 2 years and just realized my carry on is 50x40x25 instead of the 55x35x25 the website says it should be. Anyone flew recently and know if they would be okay with that 5 cm difference in width? Are they very strict nowadays?

Not with KLM, but I've flown BA and easyJet (and Jetstar and Qantas in Australia) since covid and they haven't checked any carry on sizes

like

Well that's good to know because my flight with KLM just got cancelled 😠 and I've rebooked one with BA 😌

like

I used Ryanair few weeks ago and they didnt check 🤷🏻‍♂️ not sure about KLM

As long as you’re not taking the piss no one will care

If you’re “Networking” you’re doing it wrong.

Would you walk up to someone you’ve never met at a dinner party and ask for their number?

That’s what a connection request without a note is like.

Not interested.

Start a conversation. Be friendly. Be genuine. Be curious. Be respectful. Learn and exchange ideas.

Don’t only reach out when you need a job.

Get to know childrens’ names and favorite vacations.

Be a friend.

Friends aren’t a “network”.

They’re people we care about.
