I got offer from NatWest Chennai location . My skills set is project management 13 years experience. They have mentioned in my offer letter B7 corporate title is associate. When I ask to hr guy he said it is equal to Manager level. But title will change department department. Is it true? B7 is manager role ? What is CDIO department in Natwest. Please clear my doubts

Feeling super anxious about a position I interviewed for last week. 1 month ago I hit my 1 year anniversary with my current company and received a 5.25% annual merit raise. At that same time, I interviewed for a junior manager role promotion and got word yesterday that I got the job! I expected a raise in the 10-12% range and they told me it was actually 3.65% which potentially had to do with my recent annual merit raise.

In my mind, these should be separate & unrelated which my manager agreed with. I will negotiate this, but what is reasonable? Any thoughts?
