Hi, it seems your experience aligns more with second role, however if the pay is the same, try to see which role aligns more with your aspirations and long term professional goals. The strategist rile later on could lead to advisory or board member role which would be executive leadership however the management role would have more potential to provide you later with wide range of application of same experience within different products but might not take you to executive leadership if that isn’t the goal.
Which earns you more money? Also, which could be most easily replaced by AI? Which would build your marketable skills the best?
Hi there, both are quite AI resistant roles. Senior strategist roles are close to the senior leadership and stakeholders so the decision making can’t be replaced by AI. The same, stands with product management, as the communication with the stakeholders, defining the vision of the product etc can’t be replaced. Ultimately, it depends on which field you want to enter. I think both positions are good; it's a tough choice, lol
Strategist role would build your network of you’re any good at it. Forex is kind of niche though.
The PM role you’ll be exposed to different business lines within a company (breadth). Is the industry resilient? Exciting?
Which role will expose you to learning, filling in your skills gaps?
