I am considered a part of leadership and am a people manager in addition to my sales role. I am a high performer and last year got a 10% raise (which I asked for). This year I was offered 5%. Recently passed all pre-employment requirements and accepted a job offer from a federal agency. Their HR confirmed salary and start date over email but said I would not receive any final offer paperwork until 1 week before the onboard date. I am an “international” copywriter as they call us, and people at the agency are constantly changing my copy. Sometimes even without telling me. There always seems to be something “wrong” with it.

So, I and another American copywriter made an experiment the other day: I presented HIS copy and he presented MY copy. My stuff got so many corrections and his stuff didn’t get any.

Looking at HRIS options with a client, 35 staff. They are currently using Namely but it is clunky and doesn’t include some of the things they want (integrated ATS, documents, onboarding and offboarding checklists, time off tracking). ADPRun current payroll and are considering Rippling, BambooHR, and Paylocity. Using JazzHR as an ATS right now but would like to fold that into the HRIS so that they can use those dollars for a more robust perf mgmt system. Any thoughts on these or others?

Hi all. I started a new role with a company I’ve been with for 2 years. The role is very much an SME role and can be quite boring sometimes. When hired I was told that this role would do a lot of different projects and skys the limit but after 7 months, I’ve been doing 1 project and when asking about role expansion essentially told to stay in my lane. My first thought was performance issues but manager confirmed not that. It’s getting really boring and need more engagement. What should I do?
