I have been trying to switch to a technical role at G for some months now with very little luck despite submitting CLs for my current team + 20% exp. I’m currently in a sales ladder but do mostly development work and want to switch to a role that offers me more support and growth tech wise. I’ve also been interviewing externally and I have heard positive feedback for SWE @ Microsoft just need team matching. Would it be smart to switch or wait to find a SWE/UXE or other tech role at G?

I have Nvidia interview next week. (Nvidia is dream company for me)

Assuming Nvidia interview takes 2 more weeks.
Is it okay if I accept qualcomm offer for nw and reject it later if Nvidia hires me.

Hey all, question about a toxic organization. I’ve rided it out in sales as an AE at an org for 2 years and now I truly feel my mental health suffers. We have “forecast sales meetings” where the Director grills us on deals in front of the entire team. There is inconsistent behavior and 0 accountability from leadership when we don’t hit our sales targets.

Is this a normal thing in sales?

SalesForce folks, a recruiter reached out for an opportunity to interview for a AE position in my specialty. I noticed there is also an opp available locally for a Strategic Account Manager in my vertical as well.
Any one know of pay difference between the two, responsibilities/expectations, how they are viewed in the org itself?
I understand they are different but in my job today, I handle both roles so can go in either direction.

Hey everyone, I have 6 years experience as a BI in Amazon where I was promoted upto Business Intelligence Lead for which I worked for 6 Months and later moved as a Support Engineer to a Data Engineering team. I am currently doing my masters in USA and in my second semester. I want to interview and work as a Data Engineer. I think i will probably start applying for interviews by spring this year. Any tips on the preparation needed? and any guidance will be appreciated. Thank you!

How do you go about explaining the transfer of your skills from litigation to transactional? I had a phone interview with the most condescending attorney questioning my ability to essentially do anything and even insulting me about my law school GPA (I worked all through law school and got a CALI award) I also just got a raise at my current job so I’d say I must be somewhat okay. It was the weirdest interview I don’t know why she bothered interviewing me at all.

Is refermarket legit? I see many people getting that message on referrals and wanted to make sure it was a real and useful thing.

Made it to final on-site interviews, but just got the email from the recruiter saying they’re passing due to “other candidates that were a stronger match”.
