Just read a LinkedIn post from someone who was laid off from Twitter. They mentioned how to had just spent the last week completing projects that should have taken several quarters to do. Then they were let go without a thought. Remember, your company is not your family.

How do you navigate a job offer that is contingent on the firm calling professional references? Has anyone ever done aggression training for their dog? Met with a trainer who basically wants us to either keep our dog crated or on a leash at all times and said no pets or play time for now. Our dog has been acting out ever since we brought home our newborn and also bit our groomer. Has anybody else experienced (what seems like) irreversible physical damage from working long hours? I worked about a month of 19 hour days 2 years ago (this was the peak of the season where I worked at least 12 hours a day) and my facial skin hasn't really recovered and the experience really aged me.

Maybe this isn’t the right thread but can someone weigh in here? My last role as an analyst was called BA2, I had senior level responsibilities minus the people manager part. Is it right to put senior business analyst on job applications for a sr. BA role?
