What kinds of books, podcasts, TED talks, etc would you recommend for a recent college grad who has low self esteem, is professionally immature and for whom the prospect of entering the world of work is daunting and stressful?

Trying to find ideas/frameworks that will change mindset, tips, tools and heuristics for self organization, management, soft skills in a professional setting etc

I am a field engineer II. I have 12 years of experience and I also have a master's degree. I am currently studying for a doctorate. Do you think I am up to the task of providing services as a consultant while I obtain my doctorate degree?

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

Currently working at an IRA with great WLB. Honestly I love my job, the firm, and people I work with.

Also doing MBA part time at a T15 school. Thinking about switching to IB but I’ve done my research and I think I would burn out of IB in two years but I might be ok with that for the opportunities after.

Had been working as a BA/PM role at a financial firm for 3.5 years and decided to leave corporate to join my family’s small business with the mentality I’d take things over. I recently left a large lawfirm to go in-house which came with a huge paycut that is not going to be sustainable long term, but needed a remote position to be able to move.
