For 1-year-old kids, would daycare or nanny a better option? First time parents here.

We really like the social aspects of daycare, since we don’t have many friends with kids here and our family lives in Europe. However, sending the kid to school everyday can be inconvenient. We are willing to do that if our kid enjoys the social activities and learnings from daycare.

We find the good daycare can cost as much as full time nanny for 5 days / week, so cost may not be a huge differentiator here.

I hate my boss with a burning passion. He is condescending, arrogant, and demeaning. I made the decision this week that I will no longer work with him and am taking active steps to transfer within my department so that I no longer have to work with him. How was everyone’s Pesach? I went to an Orthodox seder at my rabbi’s home on night one that was surprisingly really fun, and then hosted a humanist (non-religious) seder at my home. It was a good mix!
