Masks at open houses?

With flu season (and COVID season?) just around the corner, I’m thinking of asking buyers to mask up at showings. Good idea or am I going overboard?

I have an H1b which I received in 2019 and was valid till august2021, due to covid I wasn't able to travel and then I switched to another firm last year in November. If I get visa transfer, will it provide me a validity back as I haven't used any on site time on that visa.

Had a therapist who encouraged me to quit my job to be happy. Also encouraged me to not settle with my girlfriend because I’ll regret it (like how he regrets getting married). Ended up quitting my job and became more miserable, poor and suicidal. Haven’t seen my girlfriend due to long distance and COVID and we might break up soon. Did I just find a bad therapist or is it normal to project your own regrets to your patients?

Hi, I have still not got my offer letter, and am a campus hire. I lost one of my parent last year to covid with zero to very little personal savings. As far as I heard from my colleagues location like Bangalore or Hyderabad is being offered. But I stay in Kolkata and wanted to work from here if possible and luckily office is opening here, is it possible for me to talk to my recruiter and get it done before joining, or they might revoke my offer?

Before Covid my husband and I kissed good bye at the door and went off to our respective positions and we came home and we recapped our day. My husband is a principal by the way. Now I hear every phone call, feel every stress, listen to the tension in his voice during calls, and see the fluctuations in his mood throughout the day. It’s like I’m not only only absorbing the stress of my own job but the stickiness of his stress feels like it’s latching on to me. I can’t avoid it.

What are your thoughts on cutting off all people I’ve met on dating apps and starting fresh? Because of coronavirus I never went on dates with any of them, but text/snap daily even though my interest is low due to not being able to physically see them.

Fellow asian fishes in NYC, have you noticed or experienced covid related hate crimes and discriminations since the outbreak? I've been mainly staying within my area in LIC but two close friends recently were physically abused in the city and called "coronavirus". It makes me afraid to go back into the city and in all honesty I am disgusted by the level of maturity and stupidity of some people.

We went to a wedding and husband was not wearing a mask at the airport and in public places . He gets Covid and we find out several of the guests also got Covid . No way of knowing who was patient zero. We have a toddler who has symptoms (tested negative) but now can’t go to daycare and I’m also not feeling well but still negative. I’m angry with my spouse since even when he was sick he didn’t mask at home and refuses to isolate in his room (would eat in the living room).

I am interested in moving to another state and realized that this state has one of the most restrictive reciprocity rules in the country. I've passed multiple bar exams. However, I won't get any credit for time I worked in CA because CA isn't reciprocal. I swore I'd never take another bar after taking CA - and now I have to take another exam if we move. I worked in big law in CA for two years and get no credit! Yet the exam has been waived for new grads for COVID. It sure limits our move.

In this Pandemic time, first I would recommend developing a Covid Tracker for beginners. That will help developers to gain knowledge on react architecture

How has COVID affected your workload, if at all? My group has a lot more work to do, and less resources with which to do it. But I don't worry about layoffs, so overall I'm happy to be where I am.

Uhhh...I've worked a bunch of places and this has never been an issue. Lack of foresight or genuine not giving a shit about employees? (Not talking Sukkot here, but Major High Holyday that even the most non-observant acknowledge because Day of Atonement, you know?) Anyone else?
