Curious to know how closely you (creatives) work with your strategy/ planning counterparts. What is the dynamic you share?

Im a 6th year associate working for a company that I plan to stay at long term. Currently working under a G.C. that does not analyze anything from a legal perspective, occupies herself with mostly admin/operational issues, and doesnt give any direction on how she wants things “handled.” Just looking for any suggestions from people who have successfully dealt with this before.

What's the process for leaving the firm? Is there a formal process that I have to go through or do I just tell my PML that I took another opportunity and I'm out in 2 weeks?

I want one of those ‘introverted but willing to discuss’ shirts to wear to work.. insert tax or audit 😂

My manager doesn't interact much with us. I consider myself as some one who has worked hard for project and other intiatives. Should I ask my manager to consider me and if yes how should I initiate it.

Thoughts on giving less than 2 weeks notice?

I’m quite frustrated and ready to start new job ASAP. I’ve been at current job for nearly 3 years and anyone who might be potential reference for future jobs (old bosses) has already left the company. I have good relationships here otherwise too.
1.5 week notice will work out with my upcoming travel plans and personal life as well, but concerned about if agencies really put you on “do not rehire” list?

PEOPLE DO MAKE MISTAKES!! but My manager reacts very rudely everytime with me, And all seniors who are with him around 10+ years will assign tickets to me and they monitor me continuously.

What should I reasonably expect from a junior?

I manage a junior developer that's been with the company for about 18 months. I end up providing them of TON of support. I need to give them extremely detailed instructions or they fail. For bugs, I need to point them to a specific function that's causing the bug. For new features, I'm basically writing their method signatures and defining their test cases.

I've tried asking them to do more on their own, but when I do, they fail spectacularly.

Had my 2nd interview with the hiring manager this past Friday & sent a thank you shortly after. It's now Tuesday (for those who see this on another day). At the end of the interview he said they've had other people who were interested but only one other person besides me were they considering.
