The burnout is so real. Early on in my career, I learned how to mentally detach my self-worth from hitting quota. I still show up and give it my best, but also remind myself that my happiness is not tied to work. I've also found that being completely present with my family after work and avoiding calls/emails has been so refreshing for the soul.

Thanks
One week I feel great! Next week I’m struggling to get through the most basic work things and feeling like burnout is here to stay. It’s a lot of high’s and low’s and I’m trying to figure out how to break even there. Trying to get myself outside now that the weather is nicer but I’ve been so tired after work that’s hard too!

I agree—it’s hard! But getting outside really does help.
A sales leader once told me that burnout doesn’t come from doing too much but from not doing enough of what makes you happy. It took me a long time to understand this advice. I know when you’re tired or there’s a quota or there’s that impending doom of not hitting your quarterly target it can feel like all you should do is work. When actually what is needed is to carve out time for the things that fill your cup. Harder part is figuring out what truly recharges you. If you’re waking up tired or can’t focus then there may be several things that need to change (focus on the low hanging fruit even if these are small changes).
Be committed to the goal but not attached to the result or outcome.
You can work with a coach to help deal with burnout before it happens. I waited and had to go out on medical/stress leave. I hired a therapist and a coach to help me deal with my feelings of helplessness and inadequecy. Develop your support system of people you can talk to. Good luck!
