Any promising ad agencies in Nashville?
Hi fishes, I attempted an interview for software engineer post at Amdocs. I cleared the first round of interview and later contacted the recruiter for the same. The recruiter replied by saying they will let me know once panel will be available.
It’s been around 2 weeks I haven’t heard from the recruiter.
Can anyone guide me and help me with the same?

Working on a startup and having a kid. Apparently I’m a bit of a masochist 🤷🏻♂️
It definitely sucks and I am burned out. Not from my job which I like, but basically everything else.
I think just acknowledging it is important so that’s good. I’m also currently trying retail therapy (got a Quest 2 and hunting down a PS5).
I'm trying to just focus on working on my 200 or so backlog of video games. Going for even just a walk around the block once a day has been a nice reset.
Meds, home improvement, retail therapy, and lots of breaks. Everything else has lost its potency at this point.
I agree with taking breaks - walk away from the laptop, leave the phone next to it... close the home office door behind you as you exit and take fifteen minutes to clear your head. I usually just walk for ten minutes and head back in to my home office.
Schedule fun things during the week and workday like: get coffee, breakfast, and or lunch outside a few times a week instead of eating in, drive to a scenic spot after work to explore, schedule different fun things to do when you can to bring change, novelty, and excitement to an otherwise predictable day! Hang in there!!
Not :(
Exercising a ton, need to keep my sanity
There’s always ways to get exercise - I run or walk, and also have a set of adjustable dumbbells. My wife has also found a ton of free online workouts - most require zero equipment.
I have also gotten into the habit of taking ten to twenty minute walks every two hours or so... let’s me clear my head and/or read through the emails that pile up. Many of them do not need a response - so I read them while I walk.
20% time is the only thing keeping me sane
Working on a startup and traveling a lot.
Bought a house, did a lot of gardening, indoor painting, fixing things around, making it smarter, a lot of wine, and grilling
wine was one of my coping mechanism too
Tennis and kids time !
More plants at home helps I find
Not well as my wife would testify.
I go for a long walk in the mornings before doing anything else. I’m also a Christian, so this is when I pray, listen to my daily devotional, etc. This is really one of the the primary practices that is keeping me sane during this pandemic. Right at the beginning of all this when I was living alone and things were even worse, I made a point of waking up early enough to photograph every sunrise. I’ve not been coping well in every area, but this morning routine has been really helpful and grounding.
