Truth be told I have never been through onboarding via remote. It’s a bit of a struggle. It’s taking forever to get access to certain resources and my assigned mentor is always underwater. How is everyone dealing with this? My manager seems hard to please in our first couple 1:1s.

I started my career as an org social coordinator. 2 years later I’m now a generalist (Work in progress) - but I manage Google ads, org social, blog, seo, PR & affiliate programs.

I learned all of the above within 6 months and now own all those channels as an associate… not a manager (and won’t be one until we hire someone for me to manage as per my boss).

Regular Ed teachers may have students (mild Learning Disabled kiddos) in their room while teaching. HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? Been introducing myself mostly to the heads of each department, head of marketing, head of sales, head of product development. to get a better idea of what everyone does, and asked sales/product for walkthroughs of the products so that I know exactly what we offer as a company

Should one add their personal technology that are currently used for remote work on their resume? Seems most companies will provide the hardware and software needed. However, it’s unclear if the employer will provide this through Teamviewer/VPN connection or will send an actual computer. Along with this, would it be pertinent to add your internet capability (speed, fios/cable/satellite/dsl)?
