That's a good question. These days I'm fairly content where I am, so I wouldn't want to start over unless there was a significant pay bump. I'd need to get probably 30% to really get me interested. Maybe less if the new organization was really something great.
Man I would do it for 125 and a place.
It would probably need to be a significant amount for me to consider moving. Moving is stressful and expensive. I would have to be making atleast 25% more.
Tell me more please.

The thing is, study after study claims that salary is the least important factor in these decisions. How far is the relocation, and to where? I almost moved from the East Coast to San Diego decades ago. When I ran the numbers, not having to pay for heating 6 months of the year made up for the increase in housing.
A few years later, I did end up moving to LA, which is just a crazy housing market. But even if the company has kept their promises on compensation, it would have been difficult to have the same lifestyle I was used to. But, hey, it was LA.
I spent 7 long, miserable years in Texas for more money, But the higher cost of living made the extra compensation a wash, and as I said, I was miserable.
I took a pay cut to move back home, where housing costs are a quarter of what I was paying, but at the end of the day, after bonuses are added in, I'm really where I was, not working insane hours, not working three jobs (two side gigs), and a much better work-life balance.
It's not always about the money. In no small part because a higher cost of living will eat up all the extra money you thought you were getting.
At this case, the increase would have to be well over 50% just to get my attention.

I’d probably need a mix of a solid salary bump and the role being a good fit for my lifestyle and family. It’s never just the number, it’s about feeling it’s worth the move.
