How did you first get into consulting? Fresh out of college or after industry?

It's not typically a "fresh out of college" position to have. To consult you should typically have a wealth of experience and knowledge in your industry. It takes years development the knowledge and skills to be valuable to your client. One exception, though, could be technical consulting if you have come out of school with fresh knowledge and expertise of new and better work flow technologies...

I joined right out of college. But I also interned and that position is arguably harder to get than a full time staff role. That said we also do yearly recruiting for college grads so I'm not sure why Nina is saying you can't join the industry after graduation.

So engineers can now automate the writing of basic code, and potentially more complex tasks, by using GPT-3.

For those who are technical: If machines can write code, how are you going to upskill? And what are the best ways make yourself indispensable?

I am not embracing the notion that you shouldn't have to code to do data science. However, I think coding may soon be much less of a competitive advantage.
