How do consulting companies calculate bonus? Is it based on a target percentage times individual performance times company performance times base salary?
So if someone make $100k base and has a target bonus % of 20% at her level and has been rated 120% for individual performance and company performance is 200%. So would bonus be? 100k*20%*120%*200% = $48k. I am making a move from industry to consulting and need clarity.

Currently going through the hiring process for a role in San Francisco. They told me the starting base was $110K, but this sounds like pennies in a city like San Francisco! My breakup annexure mentions 4 components apart from RRP and PF. Basic, HRA, Flexi, Special Allowance. Either the Special Allowance or the Flexi is not included in the CTC mentioned in offer letter.
