Earlier in my career, I felt this so much. My firm had some female leadership, but none in my office....for a long time. Eventually, I got to meet women in other offices. While I felt like the men in my office were barely putting up with my reduced schedule, I met female partners in other offices that were fully supportive, had used them themselves, had lots of team members using them. Over the next several years, and a lot of work with our firm's women's initiative, there is a lot more female leadership in my office now. Still a fair amount of golf-talk, but that's no longer a core competency. Up to you if you want to stick it out, but it can improve....and you can help move the needle.
