How do you figure out where you want to go after b4? I’ve been out of school working for the same b4 for nearly 10 years now. I have progressed up the levels relatively quickly and am generally a high performer. I am finding that I really do not like my job anymore. I have retooled a couple times two different practice areas but nothing seems to really be satisfying, or even in the slightest. I have interviewed at some industry roles, but was not sold on any of them, each for different reasons.

I’ve been in a similar boat. I don’t think there’s going to be a perfect fit. I’ve just been trying to find somewhere I can live with and try to save enough to retire at 50 or 55.

When you budget for your engagements, what percentage of staff time is your budgeted manager time? Do you get a bonus? How much? Do you count it in your salary when posting here?

180 base, 50 bonus, plus 50-75k profit sharing and 50k equity a year.

Still feel underpaid on initial base salary :/

Lets us discuss why Indian companies expects/forces/ us to work more than 9 hours but in timesheet we have to fill 8.
Managers schedule meeting after office hours and expects us to be available always.

Sorry to say this but I have seen only Indians who work extra hours. What's even funny is that the upper management laugh at foreigners who work exactly 8hours.

Should we not change our mentality?
What should we do to not follow this anymore?
