How do you guys think pets should be treated in the work place?
I’ve had a lot of people say animals are like your kids (I agree) and if they are unwell you must take them to the vets. Work can wait.
What did everyone else think??

Hi. People Manager here. I've been one for 12 years now and I encourage my team to not be "yes" people. At this time, it feels like my manager wants me and my team to be yes people for her. How do I deal with this? I've never been a yes person and I don't preach this to my reports. I don't know what to do. Help?

Graduating with my finance degree in about a year. I took a part-time healthcare position fill my employment gap but most of my previous experience is in manufacturing logistics and customer service. Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. Currently working at call center to get local experience (bilingual), opportunities for internal transfer, while preparing for CFA 3 Feb 2023. Any ideas what to prepare in extra?

Should I decline the offer and ask to be considered for a higher role that better fits my qualifications? The offer I had was with a great bank but I'm overqualified for that. Its been hard to find a job because I dont have prior experiences.

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad.
