At any given point in time, you should have a list of what people are working on. If a new “priority” comes up, then bring up the list and say “which of these are we replacing?”
Get everyone to agree on what is being replaced. I find that lots of people (especially sales) will make noise about the feature that a specific client wants or “needs”, but when shown the priority list and arguing against other features in motion for either more or bigger clients, they won’t be as brave.
My suggestion is to roll with it and thoroughly document the change requests to the roadmap as well as who they’re coming from.
I do push back on teams making asks if they’re not funding those asks or if mistakes led to an immediate need to address functionality, that could degrade UX.
This requires aligning your executive teams around OKRs. Once they all agree to the objectives and the results you want to move, then anything that does not meaningfully impact that Key Result can be ruthlessly cut. The conversation you have with other stakeholders can then revert to “I though we agreed on this OKR. If it’s the wrong OKR to focus on, which it might be, then I’m happy to discuss what objective we should be chasing, but if we all believe that this is the right objective to be chasing, then we need to pick the options that best move that needle and nothing else.

Just roll with it. I don't make enough to care.
