How do you know it’s time to leave? Had an interview today at a start up, and while I’m excited, I’m nervous I’ll ultimately regret leaving consulting

Would anyone in either in house or a firm in LA or NY be willing to chat with me for informational purposes? I’m currently in big law in corporate and looking to transition to entertainment and would love to learn more about people’s paths to their current positions / day to day in the entertainment industry. Has anyone completed all the interviews for the EY TD&E Senior Consultant position? I just got news that I passed the recorded interview portion and wanted to know what to expect for the next interviews so I can start preparing as soon as possible. Are there multiple interviews after the recorded portion? Is it just one more round? What’s the case interview like? Any tips to prepare? Anything helps!

How rigid are practice & office alignment at EY? Considering an offer in FSO Digital Strategy on the west coast, but want to understand how difficult it is to switch if I later determine there’s another practice more interesting to me, or if I’d want to move office locations. TIA!

With PM experience, what’s the easiest way to get out of Advertising?

I'm not hung up on PE/buy side exits, not closed off but nbd. Would be just as happy to stay and make MD (or exit into corp dev if I want an easier life when I'm older)

My dilemma:

I'm at a LMM investment bank. Can get crazy sometimes, but otherwise chill. Typically done around 7-9 pm, had maybe three 1 am nights. Haven't worked a weekend in over a month. Fridays almost always done at 5 pm.

Have an offer at a reputable MM bank but probably pretty sweaty. Worth the move?

Recently lateraled from MM to BB as AS1. Fully understanding that getting base salary bump and no demotion is a fortunate case, I want to do well at the new shop. Any advice for AS laterals?

Need some advice: I currently do corp dev and FP&A for a smaller company and just got an offer for about double my salary at a F200 company. The catch is I would no longer be doing corp dev, just FP&A. My goal is eventually to crack into ib, do you think I should take the job and the pay bump or stay at my current role and try to lateral in to ib.

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed?
