I’ve had my eye on a “Delivery Transformation Change and Communications Consultant” position at Deloitte. Does anyone work here that could give some insight into this position/department or one like it? And is there anyone who has worked in marketing and shifted to communications/consulting…what are your thoughts on a career shift?

Block your productive time every day- an hour in the morning, or whenever you are at your peak. Make it a repeater and don’t give in to any overlap during that time. Keep one list in that repeater of Must Do and should do items. Anytime another hits to be added, open up the repeater and put it on the list in the sequence it falls. It’s always a forced ranked list of items that you wipe clean or add to any given day. The key is to hold that time when you are most productive and commit to knocking things off the list. If it grows to more than 10 items in each bucket- you need to choose what is below the cut and let those come around when you are ahead, or when they hire the clone of you. Trust me, it works when you commit to the habit.
Wow this sounds very productive and very organized! Thank you!
This and the fact that I'm neurodivergent is definitely difficult. Some days, I've got it nailed. Others, not so much. I'm curious, does the company you work for have separate departments to handle specific tasks or is your workplace a all business, which often finds itself having employees wear many hats? If it's the former, I think there may be a longer list of potential solutions.
You're quite welcome. I hope it helps. I think I may actually have to put my 'to do' list on my dry erase board in larger print so people bother me less. Lol
Google check list or to do lists. apps and chose one that’s best for you. I use Todoist. It’s a mobile app and works on the desktop. Changed my world! No way I can use outlook or a regular calendar
