How does your program/school handle internships? (Prerequisites, paid/unpaid, duration (hours), paperwork, etc.)

Internships need a Host Agreement, a pre-site visit evaluation, and a supervisor interview to confirm the site for an internship. After the student is interviewed and accepted they complete a training plan, receive two evaluations over the experience from their supervisor, and complete a reflection. The coordinator also visits them once as a mid-point check-in. Typically our internships are paid and are a minimum of 60 hours.

Hi Fishes . I have joined In the month on June and been a top performer/Rolemodel . How hike should I expect ?

Feeling really frustrated and don’t know what to do. Interviewed early March, informed that I moved onto second rounds after ~2 weeks. Was told there would final rounds in late April but they never took place and haven’t scheduled it still.

I move states in July to start my job at D but I really want this MBB role. There’s roommates in my current and possible future state dependent on me to find out where I’m working as well. At this point I also feel very demotivated to study/prep.

Our department is having a difficult time building our programs. Admin takes us for granted and doesn’t include us in any of the planning. Does anyone else struggle with accommodations and modifications for your CTE classes? I teach complex business classes such as accounting and management and I have a few moderate SPED students who can’t handle basic information and skills. They need almost constant reminders to stay on task, monopolize class time, and keeping up with IEPs, documentation, and contact requirements doesn’t allow me any time for prep work, planning, or grading. How do you keep up?
