Not super easy depending on the country. I remember Italy specifically having a lot of laws that make it difficult for Americans to get work visas. But no idea what it’s like now or how hard it is.

Depends on the country and depends on whether you can legally work there already or not. Also depends on your knowledge of the language and culture and your connections there. Depends on the size of the city and how many agencies there are.
I had an experience in Germany. They speak English but some clients will make meetings in German. It’s hard to learn but not impossible. I definitely would look for something in UK, Amsterdam for example, to get acquainted to Europe (if that is the desire), then would start visiting the place you want to live and connect to the people.
Your first hurdle will be getting a work permit - most places will only offer sponsorships for very in-demand professions.
Assuming you have that, it will largely depend on your specific skills and what country you are in.
Easier:
- UK
- Netherlands
- Sweden
Harder
- France
- Germany
- Italy
I’m assuming you only speak English. That can be a big hurdle in Europe, but does not rule out work completely.
If you want to live and work abroad you should look at countries that offer Golden Visas. That will allow you to work there.
