I was offered RSUs for the first time as part of my compensation. I think I understand the concept as such but there are a few intricacies I was looking to clarify. Could anyone let me know if my grant date is 9th nov, 2022 and vesting period is 1 year, will I get RSUs allotted at the price of stock on grant date or vest date (in this case 9th nov, 2023)? My background is in tech transactional. I joined a cybersecurity SaaS startup at the end of last year and now also handle more generalist matters in addition to all things commercial-related. I have a number of books on contracts that I’ve found super helpful over the years (The Tech Contracts Handbook, A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting, Sign Here, etc.). What do I need to know about making the switch to freelance?

I realized a slow pace at work is really bad for me. A couple years ago I was experiencing burn out from my fast paced job supporting transactions, and believed by moving to a slower job in a lower cost area, I would be sailing off to the sunset. Wrong, I spend weeks following up with other teams, often times they forgot what we discussed, so I spent 50% if the time reminding them of the topics and next steps. I spend most of my time writing memos no one will read.

Is your job congruent with who you are? In terms of your beliefs, life goals, etc.

Any one have any advice on how to deal with lack of focus and concentration? Been having trouble concentrating the last 6 months and it's bringing me down.
