Charlotte, Austin, Nashville, Denver. Chicago would fit but the weather is horrendous

IBA2 where in Europe? Chicago is too cold!

Dallas

I live in Chicago and apart from the general pros of lower cost of living, family, big city etc., I find the frequent travel very manageable given the proximity to other cities (e.g. day trips are a lot easier, all major airlines, two airports with public transport if traffic/weather is an issue etc.).

Do professionals on either coast find this to be an issue?

At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). I’m underpaid at $53000 with $3500 cap per quarter.

I realized a slow pace at work is really bad for me. A couple years ago I was experiencing burn out from my fast paced job supporting transactions, and believed by moving to a slower job in a lower cost area, I would be sailing off to the sunset. Wrong, I spend weeks following up with other teams, often times they forgot what we discussed, so I spent 50% if the time reminding them of the topics and next steps. I spend most of my time writing memos no one will read.
