Very helpful. We will at the very least look at your resume if you have a referral instead of having your resume rejected by the AI screening tool.
It will help you to get interview but doesn’t guarantee to get you the job.
A referral can be quite helpful. It can open the door and ensure that you'll be taken seriously. It doesn't guarantee you'll be getting an offer, but it places you a few squares ahead on the game board.
Definitely pretty helpful. I wouldn't say it's the most important thing, but it is a consideration. I was told when I got hired at my current job that my referral was a big leg up for me.
I imagine helpful. I got both of my in-house jobs just cold applying, though.
It's almost make or break in terms getting your resume looked at. Get one if you can.
At the very least it gets you out of the pile and a screener at my company. Beyond that depends on the strength of the referrals
It will open the door for an interview
Just landed me a job!
Helpful but doesn’t guarantee the interview. Are you going from private to in house? Or in house to in house? In my experience as prior in house (2 employers), in house prefers in house. But that said, you can still be a strong candidate if you show relevant experience (transactional, litigation, etc. depending on the role).
