How inappropriate is it to ask to reschedule an interview? I am struggling rn because my current company keeps on rescheduling meetings right when I have blocks for interviews at the very last minute. I once asked to reschedule day of because of this and ended up missing out on the job. I feel like I’m held hostage by these last minute meetings from my company and want to leave but idk how to do it if they keep on scheduling over the interviews I have!!

FL peoples: I signed a lease for a new place to start May 1 as my current landlord sold the unit I'm in. Turns out, the buyer wants to keep renting the unit and asked if I want to stay. Of course I want to stay. My new lease hasn't started so I'm pretty sure I can easily back out. For the new lease, I'm still pending full approval from a condo association as I have to do an in person interview. I have paid first months rent in advance. Is there anyway to get that money back?

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school
