How is everyone managing the inauguration at work? With all the changes and possible impacts on government jobs, I’m feeling a mix of anticipation and stress. Are you planning to engage in conversations about it at work, or do you prefer to keep things strictly professional? How do your departments typically handle the transition periods like these? I’m curious to know how others navigate these significant events, especially considering the direct effects they might have on our roles and responsibilities.

We haven’t been totally unaware of the fact that some big government shake ups could be coming. Promises to decrease and scale back have gotten us concerned, but we are also just kind of waiting and seeing too. I'm off for MLK Day, so thankfully I don't have to even overhear any talk of the inauguration. I'm sure there will be a lot of attacks on civil servants, but it's unclear how any of it will unfold. Musk and his cronies will discover that posting memes about cutting the government in half is a lot easier than actually reducing the services people depend on.
Just excited to see what’s going to be said
